Bell Aliant Data Center

Salas O’Brien designed a new data center for Bell Aliant in Atlantic Canada. The single-story data hall features clear spans of approximately sixty-six feet, which provides the client with a great deal of flexibility in space planning and cabinet arrangement. In addition the absence of interior columns simplified the raised access floor layout and design.

We included provisions for future expansion of the structure by designing the foundations for future structural loads. This approach ensures the client a smoother construction sequence when future developments are built.
