Circuit of the Americas – Formula 1

The first purpose built Formula 1 track in the US and a year-round multi-use venue, Austin’s Circuit of the Americas required a leading edge converged technology network to meet international race infrastructure standards, and support audio, leaderboards, video display, and a world class media center. Salas O’Brien’s design and coordination of the performance and communications technology have contributed to the track’s popularity – including a 2021 three-day Grand Prix event that set a new F1 attendance world record. The 3.427-mile (5.515 km) racing circuit with 133-foot elevation change occupies a campus with capacity for 120,000 fans.

In addition to racing track and grandstand amenities, the Circuit of the Americas provides private event space, a live entertainment amphitheater, retails centers, and a 40,000 square foot conference and convention center.
