DC Entertainment and Sports Arena (WNBA Mystics)

The Entertainment and Sports Arena is a multi-purpose LEED Silver facility that offers 4,200 seats for sporting events, concerts and esports competitions. As the Commissioning Authority for the project, we provided enhanced commissioning services to ensure energy efficient MEP systems with straightforward maintenance requirements. The HVAC systems include air conditioning units, rooftop unit (RTU), energy recovery units and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system as well as an engineered smoke control system.

In addition, our team provided full acoustics and technology services to ensure WNBA games had permanent audio systems, LED scoreboards and fascia boards available, along with broadcast cabling for in-house and truck production use. This arena’s flexible design allows it to cater to various needs by providing power and rigging structures to support all rental systems’ needs and services.
