Foster Pavilion

Salas O’Brien partnered with Baylor University to lead the design for the Foster Pavillion’s primary bowl audio system, broadcast cabling, LED displays, and all back-of-house AV systems that support the club and team areas. The pavilion boasts a 7,000-person seating capacity and blends cutting-edge technology with a nostalgic ambiance. The vaulted roof, designed for optimal space use, creates an intimate setting reminiscent of classic fieldhouse models while showcasing unique geometric elements that enhance its timeless allure.

To set a distinctive tone, our team designed the videoboards stationed in both end zones to starkly contrast conventional arenas. Forgoing a center-hung design, we prioritized a compact bowl layout, optimizing square footage to elevate the overall fan experience. We seamlessly integrated the two screens into the design, echoing the shape of the exterior windows at both ends, blending form and function harmoniously.
