AISD Performing Arts Center

The Arlington Independent School District (AISD) Performing Arts Complex is home to a 1,250-seat concert hall, 425-seat studio theatre, art and dance studios, classroom space, an instrument repair center, and an art gallery. University Interscholastic League (UIL) competitions are an essential program requirement resulting in generous circulation and stage spaces.

The concert hall was purpose-built to support AISD’s strong music programs. The classic shape was designed to support the choir, orchestra, and ensembles, but the inclusion of variable acoustics allows the hall to be tailored to various musical performances. A large LED screen and color-changing LED house lighting immerse the audience in performances.

The intimate scale of the studio theatre enhances connection between performer and audience. Audio, video, lighting, and rigging technologies provide hands-on student experience with the equipment.
