Piping & HVAC Integration

Salas O’Brien was brought in by an international provider of turnkey solutions to integrate their newly supplied equipment at the Republic Services Plastics Recycling Complex. This facility will not only manage the collection and intake of plastics, but will also recycle them into materials for sustainable consumer packaging.

To support this project, our team provided comprehensive 3D CAD drawings of piping and ducting design from source to equipment, including detailed hanger support for the facility. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, Salas O’Brien conducted a 3D site scan of the existing building, providing detailed and accurate building records for reference in the form of point cloud. Additionally, our engineers performed a thorough piping stress analysis for steam and concentrate, prepared contractor installation bid packages, and provided on-site engineering support after delivering the design.
