Metrix365 and Network Upgrade

Salas O’Brien partnered with a Chemical manufacturer to significantly enhance its IT infrastructure through strategic upgrades and improvements. The key initiatives included replacing outdated industrial network switches, upgrading VMware vSphere on Stratus Servers 2 and 3, and installing VMware vCenter for centralized management of our virtual environment.

Additionally, we will migrate all Virtual Machines from Stratus Server 1 into the newly installed vCenter, ensuring a streamlined and efficient virtual ecosystem. Our primary objective was to bolster network performance, security, and reliability while ensuring minimal downtime and operational disruption. The scope of the project covered a comprehensive process, including meticulous planning, procurement of new equipment, installation and configuration of the new systems, thorough testing, and detailed documentation of the entire replacement process.
