Hamilton Health Sciences Redevelopment, Juravinski Site (PDC)

Salas O’Brien joined the Planning, Design and Conformance (PDC) team for the redevelopment of Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre and the expansion of Hamilton General Hospital’s emergency department. Our team will provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy modeling consulting.

The HHS Juravinski redevelopment project involves renovating and expanding the site to upgrade the hospital’s aging infrastructure. The new development will include a new patient care tower that will significantly improve inpatient services and add over 100 inpatient beds. Renovations to the existing infrastructure will boost the capacity for ambulatory care and support programs, including general and orthopedic surgery, adult oncology, intensive care, and general medicine, as well as guarantee patient care is delivered in modern settings.
