Medical Center Modernization Project

Eastern Maine Medical Center (EMMC) underwent a significant modernization project to keep up with the demands of providing quality healthcare for its patients. This project included constructing an eight-story structure equipped with new operating rooms, women’s and infant care spaces, NICU, ICU, cardiovascular suite, and patient rooms. Our team assisted EMMC with updating their central utility plant by adding two 300-horsepower boilers and 1,700 tons of new chillers, a new 1.5 MW emergency generator, and major upgrades to the campus medium voltage normal and essential electrical distribution system.

These improvements are designed to meet the ever-growing demand for EMMC’s resources while continuing to provide top-notch healthcare services for their patients. The newly renovated facilities offer comfortable accommodations and state-of-the-art medical technology for clinicians and patients alike. This modernization project allows EMMC to serve more patients in need while keeping up with the latest advances in healthcare.
