Fort Worth Stockyards

Fort Worth was once the largest horse and mule market in America, defined by iconic red brick and wrought iron buildings that provided fire-proof structures integral to forming the town’s early commercial base. Majestic Development sought to make thoughtfully planned alterations to these facilities to adapt them to retail, restaurant, and office spaces. Salas O’Brien designed audio systems that provide background music sitewide and audio for shows or daily features. Additionally, we installed video projection equipment for custom content playback in the Mercantile Exchange and provided data infrastructure for public and event areas. To minimize the impact on rentable space, our team worked with the design team to determine appropriate underground pathways for the infrastructure and develop creative solutions for equipment rooms.
