Gainesville Fire Station No. 1

Fire Station No. 1 in Gainesville, Florida is a modern facility that supports the City’s main downtown fire station. The station includes living quarters for firefighters and administrative headquarters offices. There is a room for training, five spaces where fire trucks can drive through, and support spaces for equipment repair, laundry, and storage.

Our team provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low voltage systems design as well as engineering-related LEED administrative support. As part of the facility’s completion, state-of-the-art dispatching and station alert equipment was installed. The electrical systems are backed up by a 300 KW natural gas generator and station alerting systems were coordinated with Purvis.
