Accessibility Audit

To provide accessibility for persons with disabilities, Salas O’Brien partnered with the Ministry of Children and Social Services (MCSS) to conduct Accessibility Audits of their facilities in Ontario. The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) aims to achieve an accessible Ontario for all by 2025. As a result, our team completed an audit on over 90 facilities and offices.

Our accessibility assessment provided reports outlining necessary upgrades to make these buildings fully compliant with building codes, AODA regulations, and guidelines set by the Ontario Human Rights Commission. The discoveries ensure that MCSS meets accessibility standards, allowing persons with disabilities improved access and better quality of life within these spaces. Salas O’Brien is proud to have played a role in this initiative and ensuring everyone has equal access and opportunities in their communities.
