Cash Corner Fire Station

Salas O’Brien was part of the design team for the new, state-of-the-art, fire station designed to replace their original 1970’s era station, which was undersized, outdated, and contaminated with toxic mold. We provided full mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural engineering design services.

The two-story construction includes small and large garage bays, a decontamination room, multi-purpose room, fitness room, and administrative offices.

Working with the officials from fire, facilities, environmental and administration, the new facility meets the city’s current and future fire response needs, environmental and energy efficiency goals all while coming in under the $6 million budget.
