Data Center, Technology, and Security Upgrades

Salas O’Brien partnered with the Aldine Independent School District for a technology upgrade for 58 schools and seven district facilities. Services included structured cabling, school communications, classroom audio/video, CCTV, access control, network infrastructure, the bus GPS locating system, and an estimated 12 million feet of Category 6 cabling.

For the data center upgrade, we handled all bidding, construction administration, and quality control within the project; to date, there are no warranty items. We also provided technology design for four new middle schools, a new Career Technical Education high school, three elementary schools, a new high school, a ninth-grade center, and prototypes for future buildings.
