Agriculture Science Center

Salas O’Brien collaborated with the Katy Independent School District to provide comprehensive engineering services for the new Agricultural Sciences Center.

This multi-building complex, which includes a Pavilion, Show Arena, Outdoor Rodeo Arena, and Project Center for Future Farmers of America (FFA) students, provides real-world experiences for the district’s Agriculture Education program. While the L.D. Robinson Pavilion will house livestock and host up to 2500 guests for FFA Progress shows, the W.E. “Billy” Morgan arena offers 5000 spectators a covered Rodeo Arena experience. The Project Center also offers classrooms and Lab spaces that support the curriculum, allowing students to gain practical knowledge and develop into successful farmers, educators, scientists, business owners, and community leaders.
