Bergami Center for Science, Technology and Innovation

Embarking on its 100th anniversary, the University of New Haven opened the doors to its new Bergami Center, designed to embody the University’s commitment to preparing the next generation of leaders and problem-solvers in careers of the future.

With a mission to drive innovation and science, the Bergami Center features collaborative classrooms, huddle spaces, a teaching auditorium that functions as a cinema, a live broadcast studio, and a makerspace with a woodshop, 3D printers, and CNC cutters. The building complex is also equipped with an esports management teaching, training and varsity-level competition venue, and a café. Designed to allow students interested in innovation and entrepreneurship to come together and collaborate, the space provides new smart classrooms in an advanced setting for learning. As a result, students can design and test ideas alongside their peers, with consultation from faculty, alums, and the corporate community.
