Agricultural Sciences Center

To maximize efficiency and efficacy, our partnership with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services resulted in the co-location of four laboratories (each with an average age of more than 40 years). These labs support citizens, farms, and businesses with divisions such as Food and Drug Protection, Standards, Motor Fuels, Structural Pest Control and Pesticides, and Veterinary Diagnostics.

We created a modern laboratory complex with offices, labs, and shared spaces. The design features sophisticated testing equipment, special systems such as purified water types, lab gases, air transfer segregation/isolation, unique exhausts, humidity control systems, multiple voltage types, and high-intensity critical lab lighting. In addition to providing necessary updates for the five teams totaling 200 employees currently utilizing the complex, it allows for future expansion should it become necessary.
