Resource Efficiency Management

Salas O’Brien delivers comprehensive energy and water Resource Efficiency Management (REM) services for the entire Air National Guard (ANG) portfolio, which supports 95 installations across CONUS and OCONUS. The REM team is involved in a range of activities, such as microgrid and energy efficiency planning, life cycle cost analyses, measurement and verification, and annual energy and water usage reporting via TRIRIGA.

The ongoing projects focus on achieving energy cost savings, reducing overall energy consumption, shifting towards sustainable and renewable energy sources, and enhancing energy resilience, including fortifying automated systems against cyber-attacks. Our team meticulously tracks and reports on ANG-wide energy and water consumption goals, including metrics like energy and water use intensity, renewable energy purchases, and production. Additionally, REMs prioritize resiliency and assurance while addressing energy conservation
