Science + Technology Park

The Science + Technology Park of Johns Hopkins is an innovation hub in downtown Baltimore. Its main goal is to attract entrepreneurial firms and commercialize new technologies. To achieve this, Johns Hopkins sought to create a new facility to accommodate long-term and short-term life sciences and technology education and research. The facility had to be flexible enough to cater to tenants needing wet or dry lab space, office space, or a combination of both.

Salas O’Brien designed all mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and laboratory plumbing systems in the flagship facility at 1812 Ashland Avenue. We also provided commissioning services to ensure the base building and the fit-out for the Technology Ventures and FastForward business accelerator were functional, comfortable, and attractive environments.
