North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Neighborhood

The North Torrey Pines Living & Learning Neighborhood is 1.5 million square feet of residential and academic / research spaces for the Social Sciences and Humanities departments.

The project includes residential amenities and support spaces, as well as new locations for the Sixth College Provost, student affairs center, and writing program. The North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Neighborhood can house up to 2,000 undergraduates in Sixth College.

Salas O’Brien provided audio and video design for the project to create support for connection and collaboration throughout the development. Our acoustic work focused on room acoustics for amenity spaces, sound isolation, and noise control to create comfortable study, work, and play environments.
