Hogg Memorial Auditorium

Hogg Memorial Auditorium, located on The University of Texas at Austin campus, opened in 1933 as the first theatre on the university’s grounds. The auditorium serves as a space for both students and the community to enjoy arts, musical performances, and entertainment. It is also used for testing and fraternal events. While there have been many minor renovations over the years, the latest major renovation commemorates the historic architectural significance of the auditorium while balancing the technical requirements of next-generation venue spaces.

A complete overhaul was carried out on the stage and orchestra pit. Salas O’Brien provided theatrical consulting services, including theatre design, theatre equipment placement, and theatrical lighting systems.
