Salas O’Brien has a long-standing partnership with H-E-B grocery stores to design mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for over 40 Texas H-E-B stores, customizing each store to serve the needs of its community. Our team designed stores that align with the company’s vision to maximize efficiency while positively impacting communities.

H-E-B grocery is one of the largest independently owned food retailers in the United States—family owned for over 100 years. The H-E-B acrostic stands for one of the store’s earliest owners, Howard E. Butt. Today, the letters are more commonly associated with the company’s tagline: “Here Everything’s Better.” H-E-B serves around 155 communities throughout Texas and into Mexico, and each store is tailored to meet the unique needs of its surrounding community.
