Ardendale CTE High School

East Baton Rouge Parish School System, home to eleven U.S. Blue Ribbon Schools, is a nationally renowned Magnet Program with some of the best high schools in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report. Salas O’Brien partnered with the school to provide engineering services for a new career and technical education center modeled after a computer motherboard. This construction project includes classrooms and labs for technical education in HVAC, electrical, nursing, and construction trades.

We provided design for this one-of-a-kind facility to teach the technical careers of the 21st century, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology engineering services for the new Career and Technical Education Center at East Baton Rouge Parish Public Schools. The building is a teaching tool that exposes all HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, providing students with hands-on training in these technical fields.
