Scripps Court TV and Newsy Studio

Salas O’Brien partnered with Scripps Media to update their Court TV and Newsy Studio in Atlanta. Our engineering expertise and ability to manage time allowed us to meet the studio’s specific delivery date for going live on air. We overcame supply chain issues and provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design services for the renovation project. Our back power support designs were vital for a successful live broadcast from the studio. Additionally, we tied a supplemental HVAC into a UPS Power distribution system and an existing emergency generator power distribution system. Fiber communication design to all production workstations allowing increased bandwidth productivity was also included. We completed the project according to the scheduled delivery date on air.
