Salas O’Brien is proud to announce our partnership with the Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) in developing a cutting-edge soybean processing plant in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Leveraging our extensive expertise in the oilseed industry and construction management, this state-of-the-art facility will integrate capabilities for soybean crushing and soybean oil refining.

Aligned with our commitment to sustainability, the new plant will meet the increasing demand for sustainable food sources.

On June 27, 2024, Salas O’Brien participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the facility, which is set to create over 100 jobs. The plant will boast an annual soy crushing capacity of 1,500,000 MT, an annual edible (RBD) and an annual edible (RBD) soybean oil production capacity of 320,000 MT.
