Salas O’Brien was chosen by Vireo to create a luxurious residential building in Midtown Atlanta, providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection designs for its 25 floors and 350 units. In addition to smart lock entries, the impressive building also features a rooftop park with a pool, a fitness center, and a dog park with a dog wash station. Since its opening, Vireo has received rave reviews from residents who enjoy the advantages of the advanced technology within each apartment, such as Honeywell Lyric thermostats, gas stovetop ranges, and extra wine refrigerators. The building utilized amenity spaces which are opened in nice weather to the outdoors. These spaces required controls to turn off the HVAC equipment while they were opened to the outdoors. Our engineering expertise allowed us to design an unprecedented high-rise that exemplifies our capability to create unique multifamily housing solutions.
