Burner Management System Upgrades

Salas O’Brien is the preferred partner for safety upgrades related to Burner Management Systems within our client’s manufacturing facilities. Since 2013, we have completed nine upgrades by working closely with the client to develop the required documentation for each project.

Initially, our team manages Safety Integrity Level (SIL) documentation, front-end engineering, Process Hazard Analysis, and executes SIL calculations to specify appropriate components, mitigating the hazard and achieving the required safety level. We design electrical, mechanical, process, and replacement gas trains, transmitters, valves, and switches. Our team then ensures compliance with SIL3 or SIL4 standards, delivers complete SIL documentation binders, and conducts combustion safety studies.

Our efforts have enabled our client to comply with all safety regulations, providing a safe working environment for employees.
