East MRO Complex Mission Support

The US Navy FRC East and the State of North Carolina’s Department of Transportation (NCDOT), with the support of Salas O’Brien federal team, have executed the Department of Defense’s largest public-private partnership through an Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA). This agreement allows FRC East to perform essential maintenance, repair, and overhaul services on various airframes at a state-owned facility, while mitigating the MILCON burden for the U.S. Navy and facilitating an overall cheaper rate for Depot services.

When complete, the multi-structure, purpose-built facility will provide more than 700,000 square feet of space planned to support FRC East’s work on the Navy and Marine Corps C/KC-130J Super Hercules and C/KC-130T Hercules and Air Force HH-60W Jolly Green II.
