Renewable Natural Gas Facility

Salas O’Brien provided a comprehensive design for Wayne Township’s renewable natural gas facility. Our team redirected 2,500 SCFM of landfill gas from incineration to produce 1,333 SCFM of pipeline-quality natural gas. We expedited the project by developing early design submissions for building permits. As the prime designer, we coordinated MEP, structural, civil, architectural, and instrumentation & control design.

Our expertise in balance of plant systems integration optimized gas compression, cooling, and upgrading processes. This project showcased our ability to transform waste into valuable energy resources, providing their client with significant environmental and economic benefits by repurposing previously incinerated biogas.
