Alienware Longhorn Esports Arena & Lounge

The new Alienware Longhorn Esports Arena and Lounge projects were sponsored by Alienware to create multiple gaming spaces at UT Austin. The “arena” features a full-scale gaming space with 43 Alienware stations, a varsity room, a production center, a console game space and a viewing area. The lounge includes 10 personal gaming stations and a multiplayer console. Together, these spaces make up 3,400 square feet of the UT Austin student center.

Salas O’Brien provided technology design for this project. Our team made sure to adapt new systems to existing conditions in order to maximize the spaces’ use. This included A/V, data infrastructure, and security designs for the gaming area. Our team provided designs for all tech, including cameras, lighting, curtains, and other finishes.
