At DBEI’s Digital Built Week Americas 2023 in Dallas, Tony Perez presented on “Innovative BIM Workflows for Structural Design.” His presentation shed light on how Building Information Modeling (BIM) is revolutionizing structural design, offering insights into the latest advancements and techniques. This session explored how these innovative BIM workflows are not only enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of structural design but also paving the way for more collaborative and integrated project delivery methods.
Tony Perez, a seasoned expert in BIM and structural engineering, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the discussion. Serving as a Senior BIM Specialist at Salas O’Brien, Tony completed undergraduate studies in Architecture from The University of Texas at Arlington, and is an Autodesk Certified Professional. Tony is co-founder of the Austin Dynamo User Group, and was structural BIM Manager on many large-scale, high-profile projects including the U.S. Embassy Bangkok (USDOS), the TxDOT Headquarters, Austin’s Downtown Central Library, and Tesla’s Gigafactory in Texas.
