Grant Mitchell, Managing Principal, has been appointed as the President of the American Oil and Chemist Society. This highly respected global forum is dedicated to advancing the science and business of fats, oils, surfactants, proteins, and related materials.
Grant is a passionate leader and industry expert with more than 30 years of professional experience in the operation, design, and management of processing facilities within the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage industries. He joined Salas O’Brien with the Plus Group, where he served for 16 years as principal and later as CEO. Grant is a Professional Engineer in Ohio and many other states and is also on the board for Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Southern Ohio region.
