Duc Bui shares current client success stories and microgrid innovation in providing full-facility off-grid power. This session titled: Healthcare microgrids can lower utility costs, meet sustainability goals, and increase resilience, is presented with Jamie Schnick, Rame Hemstreet, and Rocky Tanner. The focus will be on how microgrids offer the opportunity to simultaneously lower utility costs, reduce facilities’ carbon footprints and provide much needed resilience. By presenting details on three projects that have included new health care microgrids this session shares that there are really no code issues that prohibit the implementation of healthcare microgrids. The session shares challenges met, goals realized and some unanticipated benefits for three facilities that have recently installed healthcare microgrids at their sites.
