With over 25 years of experience in finance, acquisition, and development of complex and high-value projects, Patrick Giardina is Senior Vice President of Energy and Infrastructure at Salas O’Brien. Over his career he has proven effective at delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for public and private clients, focusing on renewable and resilient power generation. HIs career has demonstrated success to modernize the defense industrial base through public-private partnerships (P3) that create value for both the government and the private sector. Patrick has led or managed multiple P3 programs that involved feasibility studies, real property transactions, environmental regulations, partnership agreements, and financing mechanisms. Some of Patrick’s notable achievements include a $2B solar project at Edwards Air Force Base, a $10B offshore wind project with Dominion Energy and the Navy, and a $1B naval depot modernization project. He is passionate about finding the intersection of renewable and resilient power generation and advancing the nation’s energy security and independence.
