Mike Walters, PE, LEED AP, is an industry leader in the comprehensive techno-economic analysis of energy systems and alternatives, with a background in high performance buildings, energy planning, and the design and construction of geothermal systems and central energy plants. His project achievements include Cornell University’s standard-setting climate action plan, the district energy transformation of Ford Motor Company’s Dearborn campus, and Smith College’s accelerated campus carbon neutrality project. Walters is the district energy market leader for Salas O’Brien and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, School of Civil Engineering.
