Visitor Complex Facility Condition Assessments

Salas O’Brien is providing comprehensive facility condition assessments (FCAs) for Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (KSCVC). Our team is assessing 68 facilities, including exhibits, the IMAX Theater, artifacts, and utility systems.

We are providing detailed field assessments of building structures, systems, and utilities, with reports documenting deficiencies and cost estimates. We are providing an executive summary highlighting conditions, maintenance observations, and trends. Beyond FCAs, we are conducting fall hazard analyses, arc flash assessments, stormwater system evaluations, and ADA compliance checks. One notable project involves the inspection and redesign the Rocket Garden Guy Wires, particularly the Delta Thor Rocket Exhibit, damaged by Hurricane Matthew in 2016. We are also performing maintenance program assessments and code compliance inspections for fire doors and exterior lighting, showcasing their multifaceted facility management and safety expertise.
