Salas O’Brien is expanding again! We have merged with WMA Consulting Engineers, adding locations in Chicago and Denver and creating a combined firm with 21 offices and more than 600 employee-owners.

The addition of WMA expands Salas O’Brien’s portfolio in the design of large high-rise, commercial, higher education, healthcare and institutional building projects.

WMA will continue to be managed locally by its current leaders and will adopt the Salas O’Brien name after a transition period. The transaction closed on February 15, 2019, and news of the merger was shared last week with the WMA and Salas O’Brien teams.

The combined company will become a national powerhouse with significant expertise designing facilities including corporate headquarters, higher education, K-12 education, data centers, telecommunications, industrial and manufacturing, clean energy, healthcare, laboratories, retail and all levels of government.
