SAF/IE Community Partnerships and Mission Sustainment Program

The Department of the Air Force (DAF) Community Partnerships and Mission Sustainment Program provides holistic partnership development and encroachment risk assessment to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Energy, Installations, and Environment (SAF/IE). Salas O’Brien works with our clients to leverage the full range of partnership tools and authorities, identifying innovative methods to address the Department of the Air Force’s most critical installation requirements and support continued mission readiness.

Our team offers headquarters programmatic management and installation-level implementation support to execute complex partnerships strategically from concept to completion. These partnerships with communities and industry also complement mission sustainment and compatible use efforts to protect DAF installations and training areas from airspace obstruction, spectrum interference, climate change, and other risks to the mission.
