The National Institute of Building Sciences’ Building Innovation Series: Digital Twins 2024 will explore innovative approaches to managing the lifecycle of built assets, with digital twins becoming a cornerstone for improving operational efficiency and asset management.

Salas O’Brien’s David Morales and Karoline Derse will present “Leveraging NBIMS-US Standards for Big Tech and Telecom: Laying the Foundation for Digital Twins through BIM Execution Planning” on December 10, 2024, from 1:15 PM to 2:20 PM.

This session will highlight how BIM Execution Planning (BEP)—aligned with the National BIM Standard – United States™ version 4 (NBIMS-US v4)—paves the way for creating digital twins, illustrated by work for a confidential telecommunications client.

Attendees will gain actionable insights into how AEC firms can utilize BEP and NBIMS-US™ to enhance deliverable quality and accuracy, accelerating the digital transformation of the built environment.
