Carl Salas, Principal and co-founder, has been honored with the Distinguished Service Award by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) at the 2023 AEE-Word Conference.

Carl has dedicated his career to advancing all aspects of energy and power engineering, including over 25 years in leadership roles with the AEE, notably serving as chair of the International Awards Committee since 2001.

He was among the earliest members of AEE and continues to be a relentless champion for the organization’s mission to shape a clean and sustainable future through the organization’s philosophy of networking, energy awareness, education, training, professional certification, and recognition. Through his volunteerism, he has inspired countless professionals to follow their own passions and apply technical expertise to create a better, more sustainable future.
