Tuesday, June 11th at 9:00am, Ben Boeshans and Ryan Knox of Salas O’Brien will give a hands-on session diving into AVIXA’s Audio Coverage Uniformity and Spectral Balance standards and STIPA at InfoComm 2024.

The session’s focus includes everything from setting up for measurements to analyzing and reporting the data. Testing will be carried out and explained during the session to make the concepts easy to understand—a great chance for attendees to see and participate in the process firsthand.

Ben Boeshans, CTS-D is well-known for his work on high-performance audio designs for large venues. Recent projects include Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Q2 Stadium in Austin, Baylor University Pavilion, Boston College’s Alumni Stadium, and St. Paul’s Chapel at Trinity Church Wall Street. Ben has been with the team since 2010 and, was active in the development of the AVIXA standards and is a past member of AVIXA’s Standards Steering Committee, showing his deep commitment to the audio-visual field. He serves as a Senior Consultant for Salas O’Brien.

Ryan Knox, CTS-D, LEED AP is an expert in the interaction of amplified sound and room acoustics, Ryan consults for large venues and for projects with complex geometry. He is also skilled at environmental noise control analysis for commercial and mixed-use. Ryan joined the team in 2002 with a focus on projects where performance matters. He serves as an Associate Vice President at Salas O’Brien.
