We’re excited to announce that Salas O’Brien has once again been recognized among the most successful companies in our industry and country, ranking #13 on Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s 2022 MEP Giants and appearing on the Inc. 5000 list for the 10th year in a row. These placements are a direct reflection of our meaningful, consistent growth and dedication of our team members.

MEP Giants is a notable list for our industry, honoring the top mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering firms in North America. It’s an exciting time to be in the engineering industry, and we are honored to achieve our highest ranking ever on this list among our industry peers.

We are celebrating our 10^th year on the Inc. 5000. This is an exciting reminder of the influential companies and passionate people who are pushing boundaries, innovating, and driving our world forward. We are humbled and honored to be considered among them.

These rankings continue an impressive run of industry recognition in 2022. Earlier this year we broke into the top 100 of Engineering News-Record’s 2022 Top 500 Design firms list, jumping 40 spots to #78. We also ranked #5 on the 2022 Zweig Group Hot Firm List, which recognizes the 100 fastest-growing AEC firms in the US and Canada.

Each is based on a different, data-driven measure of success. The MEP Giants ranking is based on the company’s total MEP design revenue, of which we logged over $160 million. Inc. 5000’s is determined by the company’s percentage of revenue growth over a three-year period, of which we saw an increase of 153 percent. The ENR list tracks companies’ revenue for all design services, of which we recorded over $254 million in 2021. And finally, the Zweig Group’s Hot Firms are ranked by a score composed of both dollar and percentage revenue growth rate over a three-year period.
