Explore engineering and tech careers with Salas O’Brien

This virtual event is designed to help high school and secondary school students across North America explore careers in engineering and tech. Over the course of the day, students will participate in virtual workshops and interact with Salas O’Brien professionals from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds.

Why Salas O’Brien?

Engineers earn a strong salary and rewards compared to other professions by bringing shape and function to our communities while solving some of the biggest problems that society faces today.

Why participate?

With more than 2,300 employee-owners operating from locations across North America, Salas O’Brien provides a full range of engineering and technical consulting services for government and private sector clients.

The inaugural event in 2022 was a big success. Known then as the High School Career Exploration Program, we hosted nearly 100 students from across the continent who connected with over a dozen Salas O’Brien team members!

The deadline to register is June 30 at 5pm CST.

Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 11am to 4pm CST

Registration closes on Friday, June 30th at 5pm CST.

Participation is free and will be capped at 200. Students under the age of 18 must receive parental consent to participate.

Who can participate?

The event is open to all North American high school/secondary school students.

Priority will be given to rising juniors, rising seniors, and recent graduates who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to explore engineering and technology design as a potential career.
