Salas O’Brien builds bikes and brighter futures for local youth
Salas O’Brien team members combined collaboration with community service, building bicycles for children served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego.
Team members from across our Western offices came together during this year’s regional technical conference for an activity that strengthened teamwork while making a difference in the community.
In partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and TeamBuilding ROI, our team formed groups and tackled a series of challenges to earn the parts needed to build children’s bicycles. Working against the clock, each team put its collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills to the test before racing to assemble the final product.
By the end of the event, the teams had built 12 new 20-inch bicycles for donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego.
The bike build capped off one of Salas O’Brien’s regional technical conferences, where top leaders and technical experts came together to learn, collaborate, and share ideas. The event gave team members an opportunity to combine teamwork with service, supporting local families while giving back to the communities where they live and work.
