SilverRock Resort

Situated on an 18-hole, Arnold Palmer Classic golf course and set against the Santa Rosa Mountains, the SilverRock Resort includes two luxury hotels, a 70,000 square foot conference center and shared services building, luxury spas and clubhouses for each hotel, and 2 residential communities (29 Montage Residences – Homes, and 55 Pendry Residences – Condominiums).

Salas O’Brien conducted an environmental noise study to assess existing noise levels and analyze the impact of emergency generator noise on surrounding sensitive spaces and guest rooms. We provided recommendations for wall and floor/ceiling construction in each building to enhance sound and impact isolation in noise-sensitive areas. Collaborating with the architectural and interior design teams, we integrated absorptive products and finishes into ceilings and walls in larger gathering areas to reduce their liveliness. Additionally, we offered solutions to minimize mechanical noise and vibration impacts on noise-sensitive rooms.
