Phil Dregger, PE, RRC, is a seasoned consultant and expert witness specializing in roofing, waterproofing, and building enclosure systems. His expertise extends to California’s Title 24 Part 6 Energy Code, with a particular focus on roof drainage and wind or hurricane damage. Phil’s experience in patent litigation, cold storage, and condensation issues is marked by his skill in hygrothermal analysis, including wood decay, biological growth, and corrosion, utilizing tools like WUFI Pro, ASHRAE Standard 160, and ASTM E3054. A recognized figure in the industry, Phil actively contributes through presentations to industry and legal groups, authoring numerous technical articles. His contributions have been acknowledged with prestigious awards such as the ASTM D08 William C Cullen Award and the IIBEC/RCI Lifetime Achievement Award.
