Salas O’Brien is proud to announce its partnership with Blackstone Career Pathways, a transformative program dedicated to recruiting, developing, and advancing historically untapped talent. This collaboration is set to expand Salas O’Brien’s recruiting network to fill vital roles across the company.

Blackstone Career Pathways is designed to bridge the gap for underrepresented groups by making connections with Blackstone portfolio companies. Through the program, Salas O’Brien representatives regularly meet with partner companies to share ideas and resources and establish relationships with key non-profit hiring organizations.

Salas O’Brien is currently focused on reaching a greater range of military and early career individuals, working with organizations including:

  • Hiring our Heroes (HOH), a military community hiring program from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, through which Salas O’Brien is engaging veterans and spouses as HOH fellows, with the goal of hiring them into full time positions.
  • The Honor Foundation, a career transition program that assists U.S. Special Operations Forces in translating their elite military experience to the private sector.
  • Historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) with strong engineering and technical programs to reach emerging talent seeking internships and full-time roles.
This unique program is helping us make real strides in reaching historically untapped talent for critical positions across our organization. Our success depends on the strength of our team members, and we know that greater diversity in demographics, skills, and background not only enrich the company culture but also drive innovation and growth. We are grateful for Blackstone’s vision and leadership in this important area.
