Salas O’Brien provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection (MEP/FP), and specialty systems design for Belmont University’s premier performing arts venue. Our team engineered acoustically sensitive building systems to support world-class performance environments, including a low-noise underfloor air distribution system achieving Noise Criterion (NC)-15 levels, chilled water systems with ice storage, theatrical power and lighting infrastructure, rigging support systems, fire protection, and specialty electrical systems. Working closely with acoustical, theatrical, and audiovisual consultants, we delivered integrated solutions that support a wide range of performance, rehearsal, and event functions. The 1,700-seat facility includes a concert hall, two recital halls, rehearsal and support spaces, and a three-story lobby and atrium designed to accommodate concerts, theater, opera, dance, and community events.
