Technology Upgrades for University Athletics

Vanderbilt University partnered with Salas O’Brien to modernize multiple athletic facilities as part of an investment in fan and athlete experience. Central to this effort was the transformation of FirstBank Stadium, a destination for SEC football and major concerts. Our team replaced and reengineered the venue’s aging sound system, redesigned the stadium’s videoboards located on the new north end basketball practice facility and new south end building, and added broadcast system infrastructure to support a suite of new control rooms dedicated to SEC Network production.

Beyond the stadium, Salas O’Brien delivered improvements across Vanderbilt’s athletic ecosystem. Our team designed modern technology systems for the basketball practice facility, south endzone clubs and suites, Hawkins Field, and the tennis facility to support competition, coaching, and spectator engagement. Together, these projects reflect a unified approach to improving Vanderbilt Athletics with high‑performance, future‑ready technology that delivers consistent excellence across every venue.
