Supersonic Overture Superfactory

Salas O’Brien supported Boom Technology’s Supersonic Overture Superfactory project through LEED consulting, energy modeling, and commissioning. Our LEED consulting services helped  Boom achieve ambitious sustainability goals as they redefine the future of travel with supersonic flight. We guided the project toward environmentally responsible solutions, helping the final assembly facility for the Overture passenger jet align with best practices for efficiency and renewable jet fuel use. In addition, we provided commissioning services for the building’s mechanical and control systems, resolving issues proactively to keep the project on track.

The project incorporated sustainable product selection to support LEED certification, including materials with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), recycled and regional content, Health Product Declarations (HPDs), low-emitting emission evaluations, and other attributes that promote environmental responsibility.
